Kirstie Alley is no longer the face of weight loss company Jenny Craig, she announced today. I would imagine it is too hard to keep fighting the fat for her in the public eye. She is moving on at a time when her weight has ballooned again, prompting speculation that the company was not comfortable with her as its spokesman.

She told People magazine: "After lengthy negotiations, regretfully the Jenny Craig Company and I did not come to an agreement to continue as their spokesperson."
