Her spokesperson said Winehouse defended herself when an audience member grabbed her famous beehive.

Her spokesperson said: 'The 'lashing out' was when someone tried to grab her hair and she reacted.'

Following her gig at the Somerset Festival, Winehouse joined Jay-Z's wife Beyonce Knowles in the VIP area to watch the rapper's headlining act before returning to a London hospital in the early hours of this morning.
