Miss Hudson had appealed for her nephew’s safe return, offering a £65,000 reward.
But his body was found in a Jeep yesterday, a few miles from the house. Police are questioning Miss Hudson’s former brother-in-law, William Balfour, over the murders.
Julian's body was found in a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban, which went missing from the Hudson family's Chicago home on the day of the murders.
The vehicle was registered to Hudson's slain brother Jason, who was killed along with the actress's mother Darnell Donerson.
Chicago Police Department sent officials to the scene of a white SUV on the city's West Side on Monday - 13 miles away from the family home.
Television footage showed police vehicles escorting a flatbed tow truck as it took the SUV away from the scene with the body still inside.
