Britney Spears still looking slim and making an effort with her appearance clothing and make-up. She was spotted buying herself a Starbucksiced coffee drink yesterday afternoon.

“I was a pretty cool chick and I’m really not that way anymore,” Britney tells, more appropriately adding, “I think, it could be a lot worse. … People have it a lot worse than I do.”

I think she is more cool now, being normal and acting normal is cool.

Spears will take part in NBC’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 3, a source involved in the planning confirms. (Msnbc.com is joint venture between NBC Universal and Microsoft.)

Whether she’ll perform, or just attend is not certain, “but she will be involved,” says the source.
