I’d recommend you try selling something direct yourself, or selling leads direct to companies, or taking a commission from them.

Going through third parties means you’ll not get much unless you have the volume and ‘quality’.

There’s a reason Adsense is so successful. You don’t want to rely on it totally, but you can make some nice money.

Just don’t think that if you have one successful payd@y l0ans site, and duplicate it ten times, you’ll make ten times as much.

Interesting post. It’s maybe a good idea to diversify across several sites with varying topics though to maximise your exposure to browsers. Something I plan to do after reading this, thanks

Not to harsh though around the same as maybe say “Google Whores” and that is what another blog article title is.

Just think with other ads paying more Google should increase the payout amounts and share the wealth more since they are already Billionaires.

That’s an interesting point of view- a bit harsh- but still interesting. The trouble is that although Google give you a lousy percentage they still still pay more than a lot of other CPC advertisers. And they have low, low entry requirements. I do agree though that CPC ads are getting a little old and tired. When you look at how much Review Me and other streams can get you then it really shows that it pays to diversify.

That’s certainly a good Digg-baiting headline.
