You’re absolutely right. As in meeting in real life, it’s all about respect for one another. I’ve been running an adult dating site for more than ten years and I’ve seen people shoot themselves in the foot time after time thinking that because they’re anonymous they can say anything at all.

If you wouldn’t say something rude or crass to a woman you met in the supermarket or at the movies, then don’t do it online.

When you’re writing to someone new, pretend that they’re sitting across the desk from you and one tip that I always tell people. If you want to come across friendly and welcoming – smile when you write the mail. It works!
