Thanks Ed for some more insight on PR and SEO, Yes Frank I agree the dnscoop is pretty cool has alot to offer in a nice GUI layout. Do not be ashamed Sean because you could show what it's worth now and what you have achieved monthly.

That's pretty cool. I'm not going to say how much my blog is worth...it's kinda sad lol. Then again it's only been up for 15 days lol.

Thanks for the tip about dnscoop.com. I've used other PR checker site before but I like the all in one nature of this one. I'll definitely start using it on a regular basis. Good find.

I agree with your sentiment that everyone has to start somewhere and if you are in it for the long haul, then why not pick your friends by your own standards? Anyway, Google's logic over PR equals votes from good sites for good sites is questionable to put it mildly. As an example, if you read through high brow SEO related sites, there are some really dull and self righteous "quality" experts out there all patting each other on the back gassing between themselves about whatever they think up for the next big thing.

Google keep saying Google is about content, so by linking to lesser known blogs you are bringing more content into the limelight and creating competition so those successes dont get too smug.
