Ja Kel Daily Dot Com – PageRank 5

Shocked! Google just started their PageRank update a few days ago and guess what this blog has gone from a PR4 to PR5. I am unsure as to how soon that all data centers will start posting the new rankings.  I have the Google tool bar and this sites ratings are reflected on it. If you do not have Google tool bar you can check here.

As you already know a higher PageRank makes a site a lot more valuable and in most cases more expensive to respected advertisers.  Only two weeks ago I was approved for Text Link Ads and currently they sell for $20 and I am really curious to see if this bumps the price up.

If you have not checked you PageRank I suggest doing it now! You may be surprised!

    I’m totally jealous.

    My pagerank has dropped to a 2.

    I’ve contacted Google to see if I’ve penalized for some reason.

    It’s a good feeling when your PageRank goes up, eh? My blog is only two months old and went from a PR 0 to PR 4. I don’t think we should obsess over these updates though – it is far more important to create good content for your human readers than spending all your time trying to please the search engines!

    Martin: Not really an obesss just a great factor for getting advertisers and applying for money making programs.

    I remember my lifeiscolorful.blogspot blog had reached to PR5 right from PR0 but unfortunately that time I did not have fair idea about services like “review me” or “payperpost” which really give hell lotta importance to Google PR.

    There were reasons to reach to PR, because I had backlinked it from all my other PR3 and PR4 blogs and some PR5 backlinks as well.

    Now it came down to PR3 – cause I neglected it almost for 7-8 months. I repent on it, & I decided not to repeat the history :) .

    While you gained your PR Jason, It went from PR0 to PR4 then PR5 right? and now coming PR6 :-D .

    Would we see the Review me $$ banner changing soon ;-) .

    The determing factor will always be traffic for the reviewme banner if traffic remains the same then the banner will remain the same.

    I see, so that’s how it goes? What about if the traffic increases? Does that mean that the banner will get to change, too?
