Britney Spears Mothers Day Plans

Britney Spears and her family including ex husband Kevin Federline will be spending Mothers Day together.Fittingly, the "family day" out is planned for May 11.

Kevin apparently believes his ex-wife is "almost ready to be a full-time mom again", reported the Sunday Express. Caring dad Kevin is also said to be delighted with Britney's recent successes. "He can see she is responding to treatment for her bipolar disorder, staying sober and trying to rebuild her life and career," the newspaper added.

Britney Spears & Kevin Federline Love Again

Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been secretly meeting and trying to get their relationship back on track and be a family again. Britney's father really wants them to get back together and the whole Spears family are routing for it. By the looks of it Britney is looking better and it maybe because of Kevin.

A source said: "They saw each other on Easter. That meeting went so well that Britney and Kevin have agreed to take a trip away from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship."

The source added to America's Star magazine: "Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them. When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was."

What a let down for a mother, I do not think she should get 50/50 because she makes no effort at all, just because she is famous she thinks that it all should go her way.

Britney and Kevin are due back in court on Friday to review the case. Britney is expected to ask for the 50/50 custody arrangement to be reinstated, while sources say Kevin will ask for 70/30, and may even push for full custody.

Britney Spears attorney is going to have a tough time winning this case as he has the media to battle with too. Kevin Federline's attorney was at the back with the media so it was not so heated for him.

Mark Vincent Kaplan echoed Wasser's sentiments outside of court today, agreeing that all matters of custody between Brit and K-Fed should be kept private and out of the media particularly things like their respective schedules.

When Kaplan was asked if the Fed-Ex is worried about his kids being in danger, Kaplan said simply, "Kevin is concerned that the more time the children are with him, he feels the more insulated they are from risks that would otherwise be possibly visited upon them."

Attorney Laura Wasser asked the judge this afternoon to seal the child custody portion of the divorce between Spears and Kevin Federline. In her declaration, Wasser wrote that the document -- which divides custody 50/50 -- details the specific timeshare schedule and transportation matters. Wasser fears if the document becomes public, the media would have "a greater ability to ascertain the physical whereabouts of the minor children." Wasser wrote: "Such information greatly increases the chances that the actions of the media could threaten the safety of the minor children by, for example, causing a traffic accident or by exposing the minor children to criminals who might target the minor children for financial gain." Wasser did not use the word 'kidnapping,' but the intimation was certainly there.The judge granted Wasser's motion to seal the custody documents, pending a full hearing next month. The judge also agreed to keep secret the child support provisions of the divorce.

Where did it all go wrong?

To be honest, it never started off very promisingly.

When Britney proposed to back-up dancer Kevin after a blink-and-you'll-miss-it romance in 2004, his former fiancee Shar Jackson was expecting his second child.

What's more, he couldn't even afford to buy his superstar girlfriend an engagement ring. Still she was prepared to give the former pizza delivery boy a chance - if only in the hope the troubled singer might find a smidge of happiness after the stresses of childhood fame.

But K-Fed quickly got on our nerves, squandering Brit's cash on cars and strippers, wearing ridiculous low-slung trousers and trying to launch a naff career as a rap singer.

When Britney first fell pregnant it seemed - for a moment at least - the relationship might actually work out.

But when she managed to fall pregnant twice in 21 months while Kevin was constantly snapped out partying, things started going downhill quicker than K-Fed's pants.

Estranged hubby K-Fed has tried "every possible angle" to get Britney to chill out and get some help, but it clearly hasn't helped. First, says Star, he threatened taking the kids away, and then he tried "pleading." Finally, he's tried to get his mom-in-law, Lynne, to join the chorus. "He's afraid she's going to hurt herself," says a Star source. For K-Fed, apparently, it's now all about the kids. "They're being raised by strangers," said a source.

The Mediterranean villa near Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills was listed at $7.2 million- 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms- 7400 square feet- amenities include a deluxe swimming pool, hot tub, a balcony and a fireplace in the master bedroom, a state-of-the-art kitchen, media room and maid's quarters. The sellers managed to get all their belongings out the house in five days (at Brit's request), but left the furniture behind because she wanted to keep it.
