Nicole Richie says pregnancy was "easy". Yeah sure it is when you do not give birth naturally and yes I should know because I have two lovely children and gave birth naturally.
Nicole said: "I didn't have morning sickness and I was waiting for it because everyone said the first trimester is so hard. I had a really easy pregnancy. I was tired a lot but that was the only thing. I felt great physically, but Joel says my hormones were really bad!"
Joel insists Nicole is a natural mother because she can adapt to any situation, but admits she was difficult to live with when she was pregnant.

The Good Charlotte star told Britain's OK! magazine: "Nicole is really laid back. You can tell her anything, nothing shocks her. That was the first time I had seen her worked up. I'd be like, 'Woah, this is not the girl I know.' Like if I was late, it is usually no big deal, but it was like, 'Where were you? You know that I have been waiting here, and you couldn't even call?' It was cute."
Nicole also revealed giving birth was a "mellow" experience for her.
She said: "The birth was mellow. I don't know what time I went into labour, but I pushed for 10 minutes. Three pushes and she was out."

A source told America's Star magazine: "A nurse handed Nicole a mirror so she could see the birth. At first she was too afraid, but she watched during the final few pushes."

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said federal sentencing guidelines dealing with jail overcrowding allowed local officials to reduce the time for Richie and other inmates with similar charges. Richie, 25, was treated ‘in the same manner as other inmates with a similar sentence,’ Deputy Sheriff Maribel Rizo said, reading from a statement. "The Simple Life," surrendered to local authorities in the afternoon and was booked, processed and released about one hour and 20 minutes later, Rizo said. The deputy did not know whether Richie had actually spent any time in a jail cell.

Nicole Richie Jailed For 4 Days
Nicole Richie has been sent to prison for four days and all I have to say is SNIFF SNIFF. Arriving to court today Nicole admitted to driving under the influence of drugs. The judge said she was lucky nobody was killed when she drove the wrong way on a highway. Richie, who got credit for time served, was also given three years' probation and fined $2,048.
She stood before the judge and softly answered 'guilty' when asked how she pleaded to the charge. She nodded when asked if she understood the terms of the plea agreement worked out between her lawyers and the prosecution.
She was ordered to enrol in a drug and alcohol program and must prove that she completed it by February next year.
Lubell told her: "You are not to drive with any measurable amount of alcohol or drugs in your system.
"You are not to drive without a driver's license."
The judge said the state Department of Motor Vehicles will decide whether to suspend her license.
Nicole Richie's Trial Delayed
People Magazine Reports: Nicole Richie lawyer forced yet another delay in court Tuesday of her pending DUI trial.
"The trial will not happen (Wednesday)" as scheduled, said Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. "Richie's attorney filed a motion ... stating that their key witness, a drug expert, was unavailable for trial."
Although Los Angeles County Commissioner Steven Lubell denied Richie's attorney's request for a new trial start date of Aug. 5, he ordered both sides to court Wednesday to argue over why the trial should be postponed again. Regardless of the outcome, the hearing postpones the trial at least a day, Robison says.
Richie does not have to attend the trial. She has reportedly traveled to Canada to watch boyfriend Joel Madden's band Good Charlotte peform Tuesday night in Calgary. Richie's lawyer declined to respond to requests for comment. But in a court filing, she said she intends to use defense expert Terence McGee, a medical doctor specializing in drug abuse, to challenge the prosecution's scientific evidence against Richie.
McGee, however, is traveling abroad and unavailable for trial, according to the filing.
"His testimony will be critical to Miss Richie's case and there is no other expert retained by the defense who can testify in this regard," Richie attorney Shawn Chapman Holley wrote.
If convicted of the misdemeanor charge, the Simple Life star – who has pleaded not guilty – faces a minimum sentence of four days in jail with three years of probation because it would be her second DUI offense. Last month Richie, 25, told David Letterman on his show that she is "scared" to go to jail. But, she added, "I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I've done."
