I like your list. I think is is good to make a list of why you do things. It makes you think, forces you to put it in writing, and give you the opportunity to come back and review.

I don’t know how many top bloggers are able to keep up the workload. I find it difficult just to keep up with all the reading of blogs never mind writing them!

I agree with you that Top blogging is not for everyone. However, anybody can blog. As for me, I blog to release my emotions. I blog to let my friends know how I am. I blog when I feel like writing my thoughts down, when I want to see the workings of my mind right there on screen. It gives me some kind of perspective.
