I have found Alexa to be far less effective than Kontera. What other options are there out there?

Alexa is pretty awful – a nice alternative is Compete. I describe the two on my blog at:

Back from the Maldives now:

Kontera not bad so far but you need loads of traffic the same as adsense.. Technorati yeah figures, but I will just keep working on the the top 100 position – I will get there some day.

Alexa is a truckload of crap. Really.

Thank goodness you haven’t added the Technorati stuff. They are almost exclusively serving for top 100 bloggers.

Nice list. You may want to include ways to check your technorati ranking as well. It seems many sites are beginning to use them to determine a blogs popularity.
